Kim Ansaldo

Front Office Manager

Kim has been the front office manager at The Chelsea Dental Group since 2020, with over ten years of experience in the field. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from The Ateneo de Davao University in Davao City, Philippines. She specializes in customer service and is responsible for making sure that patients are welcomed warmly in the office. Kim shares her knowledge of insurance processes to ensure that patients are fully comfortable with their treatment plan and cost of care. One of her favorite office pastimes is sharing lunch with Jelly, the office Frenchie. On her days off, Kim relaxes by watching combat sports and mixed martial arts events. She also enjoys taking her goofy puppy Stitch on long walks. She speaks fluent English and Tagalog.

Ricardo Carvalho

Registered Dental Hygienist

Ricardo is a native Brazilian, who has been living in New York City since 2010. Ricardo’s professional career has always been fully immersed in the field of dentistry. He obtained his Doctorate Degree in Dentistry from Paulista University-UNIP in Brazil, where he continues to further expand his dental training when he returns for frequent visits with his family. He earned his Dental Hygiene degree from New York University College of Dentistry, and applies his skills in multidisciplinary collaboration with other dental specialists. He is committed to delivering high quality dental care to all of his patients, utilizing his calm demeanor and extensive knowledge of dentistry. In his spare time, Ricardo enjoys traveling and immersing himself in different cultures through their gastronomy and natural wonders. He loves spending time with his family and loved ones, and exploring the musical genre of Bossa Nova as he works. Ricardo is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and English.

Samantha Reyes

Registered Dental Hygienist

For over 10 years, Samantha has dabbled in numerous positions within the dental field, including assisting, front desk management, and insurance billing. In 2019, she obtained her Dental Hygiene degree from New York City College of Technology, and has since been gaining valuable experience in the various facets of dental healthcare. One of her favorite aspects of working with patients is the opportunity to inspire a positive outlook on their thoughts on oral health. Her years of study and training have made her a trusted source of information regarding oral hygiene health, a fact that drives her daily in bringing pride to dental awareness. Her respect for the time, health, and specific needs of the individual allows her to provide the highest quality of care to her patients. In her free time, Samantha enjoys playing with her two dogs and her daughter. Her favorite thing about working in New York City is her close proximity to the vibrant culinary scene. She enjoys exploring the diverse and unique food culture right at her fingertips.

Meet Jelly, The Chelsea Dental Group's sassy French Bulldog. Jelly has a sweet temperament, huge heart, and an appetite for mischief. A Gemini with a generous soul, she's always ready to share any and all of your snacks. Come meet our fun-loving pup (and stay for the dentistry)!
